Yorba Linda, California - September 26, 2008 - B&K Precision Corporation has acquired a majority ownership of Global Specialties LLC, according to Victor Tolan, President of B&K Precision.  Mr. Tolan states that, “as a subsidiary of B&K Precision, Global Specialties will utilize B&K’s vast resources to invest in inventory, new products and marketing and to increase Global’s presence in foreign markets.”

Global Specialties has retained Eric Blauvelt as its President, and Frank Menichello as its National Sales Manager.  All products will be shipped from B&K’s facility in California, while marketing, sales and product development activities will be handled by Global’s main office in Connecticut.

The model 1550 Switching DC Power Supply with USB charger port is a micro-controller-based DC power supply with USB charger output, constant current operation, over-voltage protection, floating (isolated-from-ground) output terminals, and an output on/off push button. By using the digital plus/minus (+/-) key control on the front panel, the user can easily set the output voltage and current.
